The STUST Chinese Language Center is offering the 2025 Summer Mandarin Enhancement Program, designed to help you improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while strengthening your test-taking strategies!

📚 Course Information:
📌 Eligibility:
1. Limited to STUST international students (excluding students in the International Foundation Program). Students who have suspended studies, withdrawn, or graduated are not eligible to apply.
2. Priority given to students with prior experience learning Mandarin phonetics (pinyin).
3. Students intending to take the TOCFL A1 test.
4. Students must comply with all course regulations.
📌 Enrollment Capacity: Limited to 10 students. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis until full.
📌 Course Dates: August 11, 2025 – September 8, 2025 (4 weeks)
📌 Class Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📌 Location: To be announced before the course begins
📌 Total Hours: 60 hours
📌 Tuition Fee: NT$5,100
📌 Payment Method: Cash only
📌 Students who attend over 80% of classes and pass the A1 mock test will:
1. Receive priority admission for the A1→A2 Intensive Course
2. Be issued a Certificate of Completion (issued according to regulations; attendance must be at least 80%)

⚠️ Important Notes:
📌 Textbook Costs: Students are responsible for purchasing their own textbooks.
📌 Attendance Policy:
1. If a student is absent or on leave 5 times or more, they must pay for their own TOCFL registration fee and will not receive a Certificate of Completion.
2. If a student is absent or on leave 7 times or more, they will lose eligibility for the second-semester course and test.
📌 Leave Policy:
1. Students must inform the instructor in advance for any leave or early departure.
2. Late or unreported absences will be considered unexcused and counted as truancy.
